Persimmon Homes have made funds available to provide one free annual bus and rail MCard to each household at Low Moor Meadows. these can be used on almost all buses and on trains in Zones 1-3 for 12 months from the date of issue. Bus Services near Low Moor Meadows

 

The nearest bus stops to Low Moor Meadows are on Albert Road (shown on the map below), a 5 minute walk. The 221/223 (Arriva) bus serve these stops, with two services per hour.

 

There are additional stops on Wide Lane, a 10 minute walk from Low Moor Meadows, where the 65 (FirstBus) Leeds to Gildersome and the 214 (Arriva) Birstall Retail Park to White Rose stop. The 65 operates two services an hour and the 214 operates and hourly service.

 

Additionally, the stops on Magpie Lane serve Arriva buses 220 and 222. The 220 serves Leeds to Huddersfield and the 222 Leeds to Heckmondwike, both operating an hourly service.

Travel by Train

 

Leeds Train Station can be reached by taking the 220, 221 or 222 bus from Wide Lane.

 

The rail station is a 35 minute cycle ride and there are 440 cycle parking spaces. There are also 299 car parking spaces including accessible spaces.

 

TransPennine Express, Virgin Trains, Northern, CrossCountry and East Midlands services call at Leeds serving a number of destinations including York, Wakefield, Bradford, Sheffield, Newcastle, Manchester, Liverpool and London.

MCards are credit card sized travel cards that allow travel on buses and trains in West Yorkshire with almost all operators. The MCard is loaded with ‘travel’ and all you need to do is put it on the MCard reader on the bus (or at rail station barriers if your MCard covers rail travel too). MCards are available for bus-only travel or for bus and rail.
